Visualisation Exercises

Visualisation is an easy way to relieve stress, boost your self-confidence and get inspiration for your goals in life. Here are some simple tips about how to visualise what you want.

Simple and Effective Tips
Before you can start a successful visualisation process, you have to do some preparation which will enable you to get into the right frame of mind.

Necessary Preparations
Analyse and identify what you want
Be as concrete as possible. Identify your needs and wishes. Do not forget to think about consequences of what you want. Are you able to handle and take care of the things you wish for. If you want to be a race car driver, are you able to handle the risk? Analyse the upsides and downsides.

Choose the most important things from your list
It is not going to take you anywhere if you try to visualise everything at once. Choose the most important things and concentrate on them.

Think about the first steps
If you want to be a race car driver, you have to know how to drive. Or if you want to be a movie star, you have to know how to act. Whatever you want to be – think about the things you have to do before you can live the life of your dreams.

Process of Visualisation
Remove distractions and try to relax
Visualise what you want. Think about images, smells, people and every little detail of your dream. Enjoy the positive feeling. Do not think about the reality, do not limit your mind. Think about everything that is good in your dream, even if it is a bit unrealistic. Remember – IT IS YOUR DREAM.

Do it every day for ten to fifteen minutes. The ideal time is just before you fall asleep or right after you have woken up.

Come back to normal life
It is not very healthy to stay in the dream. When you have finished your visualisation, let go and return to normal life.

These simple steps will enable you to visualise what you want and take a step closer to your dreams.
