Live Your Passion

Are you living your life’s passion? You may ask yourself “what does that even mean?” Well if this is your first response then the answer is probably “no”. Living your life doing what you’re really passionate about can completely change your life. If you don’t like something in your life, then change it. Instead of waking up in the morning, feeling stressed and dreading the day with what it has in store, whether it be the commute into work, taking the children to school, thinking about who and what you have to deal with during your day, your whole outlook on life would be different. Imagine waking up in the morning and as soon as your eyes open you want to jump out of bed because you are so excited about what’s in store for the day. Your mind would be is brimming with ideas and you wouldn’t be able to wait to get started.

If you don’t know how to find what you’re passionate about, then answer these key questions:

  • If I had all the money in the world, what would my ideal life look like and what would I be doing with my time?
  • What am I good at?
  • What do others say I’m good at?
  • When in my life have I felt really alive and so excited to be doing that thing in that moment?
  • What was I doing at the time, who was I with?
  • What are my hobbies and what do I look forward to doing in my spare time?
  • What types of people do I enjoy being around and why?
  • How can I serve others?

Use your answers to these questions to consider what your passion is. Make sure that it is something that you really want, and not just something you think others would expect you to want. When you answer these questions, don’t just think of the money but think of how your day will be spent. This gives your mind the opportunity to really think about all the possibilities of what you could have in your life. You will know when you’ve answered these questions in the right way for you because you will love your answers, feel so motivated, so alive, your eyes will light up at the thought of it and your brain will start racing with ideas and excitement.

If you still can’t get to the root of what your passion is, then a session with a life coach will get you on track and help you to identify this. Life coaches know exactly what to ask you to elicit the answers which are true to your core, so a session or two with a life coach will be time well invested.
